MEATONOMICS Dinner, Talk, and Book Signing (with David Simon)

VegNews calls it "Riveting." The Library Journal calls it "well researched and thought-provoking.” And the Huffington Post says it “deserves a prime spot in the library of everyone who cares about the politics of food.”

Join author David Robinson Simon for dinner (at Native Foods), talk and book-signing marking the September release of MEATONOMICS (Conari Press, 2013). It’s the first book to explore the unseen economic forces that drive our animal food system and the strange ways these forces affect consumers’ spending, eating, health, prosperity, and longevity. In Simon’s eye-opening, fact-filled presentation, you’ll discover what makes this bizarre system tick and how it can be fixed.

6:30 - We'll meet for dinner at Native Foods at the Camp in Costa Mesa.

7:30 - We'll move to Seed People's Market (next door, also at the Camp in Costa Mesa) for the talk.

David Robinson Simon is a lawyer and advocate for sustainable consumption. He works as general counsel for a healthcare company and serves on the board of the APRL Fund, a non-profit dedicated to protecting animals. David received his B.A. from U.C. Berkeley and his J.D. from the University of Southern California.

There is no charge to attend.  See you there!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
