Meet up Etiquette
Just a quick reminder of meet up etiquette : ).
We need some etiquette guidelines for this meetup.
1. Please if you RSVP "yes" make a commitment to come. If you change your mind you can always change your RSVP but out of consideration of the organizers please make an effort. A meet up will only be good if others make an effort.
2. If you are given a phone number to reach me for crowded public places, please use it! (that's why I give it to you). Take my number with you, put it in your cell or whatever and make an effort to find me. This last meet up was hectic but others did find me by looking up and down the lines and by calling me. Also, even if you are late, just call. Don't give up. We can still probably meet up.
3. Please do not RSVP "yes" and then ignore the group (this is the worst)! If you don't want to join then don't join but don't RSVP "yes" and just ignore the group. It's not very considerate. It makes it seem you don't value the group at all. Also, if you give it a chance you'd probably have a good time.
All of our meet ups so far turned out fun but you've got to give it a chance. Something new is always scary. But please, out of consideration for the group, respect the RSVP process and make some kind of commitment.
