Gathering from the buzz I've been hearing, we all want friends who understand what we're experiencing and a support group who cares. Come to this meetup and get just that! New friends who understand you, and women who can relate to what you are going through! Be prepared for a few minutes of getting-to-know-you fun, followed by some insightful group conversation. Consider your top 3 concerns regarding divorce, and let's see how we can help one-another along the journey.
If we don't take the time to build friendships we're missing out on the biggest benefit of this group - genuine support and the opportunity to support others! Kristin said it best: "We are a special group; many LDS women don't understand us because we are divorced, and many divorced women don't understand us because we are LDS." We hope you'll join us tomorrow, to meet a handful of women who DO understand you.

I'm unable to hold this session twice, but was hoping to record what we do. It turns out the recording meetups is unlikely, especially if a professional of any kind is facilitating, to protect their license. Ideally I'd like to record our discussions and start a pod-cast, but that puts the privacy of our members in jeopardy. I am working on a solution however for out of state and international members, and will keep you updated as to what we come up with. Thanks so much!

Michelle PetersonIt was nice to visit with women at different stages of divorce. It gave me hope for my future. It is nice to talk to people who can relate to you and really sympathize. People try to sympathize but until you've been in this situation you really can't fully understand.
