Collaborative Development and Version Control with Git

Simon is an experienced .NET developer, who recently joined us at Pertronic.  Simon has over 30 years experience in the IT industry, mainly in the Banking industry.  He has 11 years experience in C# and .NET Desktop applications development and is an expert on database development.

In this talk, Simon will present on Git and how we use it as a tool for collaborative development.  This will include an introduction to the concept of distributed version control systems and their use in a collaborative programming environment, specifically using Git as the Version Control System, but the concepts should be applicable to other VCS tools with similar capabilities.
