Very interesting, learned about an "Anchoress", in the middle ages some monasteries walled in woman or two, that would sing four times a day, heard thru the grates thru out the monastery. They were fed thru the same grates, on the bright side they had access to all the books in the monastery.....Hildegard eventualy got out of the monastary and created her own convent. She became so popular and made lots of money for the Church, that she dared to speak her mind about her experiences of spirituality and god, that was not in line with the church...(my guess is that they would not kill their cash cow).....So its almost a thousand years later and Hildegard's music is still being played and sold, and her books are still being published & selling in mutliple languages (mostly about herbology & healing) and the country of Germany celebrated her 900th birthday.
