Steve, following up on your mention of snow kayaking, here is a crazy video of another Zegul boat kayaking through town to the water!

I can't imagine it is healthy for the hull, but damn it looks like fun!

That is the Zegul Badarka! I have paddled one and it feels like the Caddilac of kayaks. The commercial is focused of it's durability. This boat is made from the new "a" core glass kevlar mixture. They lay in a layer of honeycomb shaped kevlar cloth to give the hull it's strength. I was surprised how nimble the boat was in the water considering it's large dimensions.

It turned out to be a perfect day on the water. The rain stopped coming down and we hit the water. Blue skies and the water turned to glass.

It's an outdoor water sport! I'm stopping at dunkin donuts in a few and then will be there.

The rain is supposed to stop around 9 am so I am planning on being at the launch point. I hope to see all of you there.

Home base for me, and no school this weekend, so I'm there. Saturday weather looks perfect to me: N winds around 10 kt with gusts up to 20 kt...becoming NW in the afternoon. Seas 1 to 2 ft. Chance of rain in the morning. Water temp ~45 °F. Air temps around 50 at 9am going up to 60 or so. May have to take a few dunks in the dry suit to stay cool.

Would love to join you but family plans prevent me from paddling that day. Hope you do a second trip to CSH, Lloyd Harbor, Huntington harbor. 3 of my favorites to paddle.
