Amityville Twilight Paddle (Cost Associated)

The Dinghy Shop in Amityville has a weekly twilight paddle on Wednesday nights.

--RENTALS ARE AVAILABLE for $46 per boat. (Please call the dinghy shop[masked] to reserve your boat)

--If you bring your own boat there is a $10 drop in fee.

This is a delightful guided tour that's great for the beginner and/or intermediate paddler.

REMINDER: paddle for the water temperature as well as the air temperature. It still gets chilly as the sun goes down, make sure to bring something to drink, a dry bag for your phone and keys, an eyeglass leash, if you were glasses, a paddling jacket or waterproof jacket, bow & stern lights (if you have), and of course...PFD's are a must!

We are meeting at 9: am and you need to be in Oceanside at 11: am . I think you would need to be off the water by 10: am . To me its not looking good . However , If I was you I would come down meet the group . Maybe try a short spin in a kayak . What do you think ?

great evening on the water. The water was like glass and the group was motivated. We ended up paddling to the south channel and back. Great pace, fast enough to keep moving, yet slow enough to have constant conversations going. One of the best Twilight paddles that I can remember. It was also nice to have the Dinghy Shop crew on the water with us.
