Equities, Options, Forex, Futures and Personal Trading Plan Instructor

Jose completed his engineering degree in 1995.He was looking for an education vehicle that would help him develop a strong and unique edge to take advantage of in the marketplace. This is how Online Trading Academy and Jose met for the very first time, and this is where he received the education that allows him to trade and teach in different asset classes and markets.

Coming from a field outside of the trading industry, Jose understands what it is like to start with zero knowledge base. This gives him the ability to connect with his students and pass his knowledge on. His goal is to help his students realize that trading can be simple.

I'm a new member and not knowledgable about options, so the presentation was great for me. It sparked my interest and motivated me to start learning more so that I can start using them. Thanks, Margaret

Very good speaker, great at explaining in an understandable way, what options are and how he uses them. For those unfamiliar with options, this was a great starting point. He concentrated on just one strategy, using options for income.
    PS Thanks Mitch!

Based on the fact that most attendees were familiar with options, I would rather have seen a more advanced presentation on option strategy, finding appropriate stocks to trade options, money management, etc. Overall however, the speaker was excellent and knowledgable on the subject.

Hi Jim..thanks..dont get me wrong..I think you and Alan are doing a fantastic job!! I just thought that since the speaker did ask in the beginning how many people have traded options and most in the room indicated they have, that he could have tailored his presentation better...but no problem..I always learn something!

With so many members, there is of course a great deal of diversity of experience and knowledge. It may be beneficial to have a beginners, intermediate or advanced discussion, but that is not the point. Prior to the meeting, one cannot tell from the info provided, to whom the presenter is gearing his message. If it is possible, to describe the target audience of the presentation, it might lead to an optimal result.

It may have been better to have had it advertised with a "Basic" or "Beginner" label. On that level, it was informative, but if you had any prior experience, not so much.

Jose Blasco gave a very informative presentation on options There were some reservations about trading options by some members, but I think they went home with a better understanding on how options work.
