The Lotus in the Desert sangha meets weekly at the Sahara West Library from 3:45 pm to 5:45 pm. Check the "meeting board" in the foyer of the library for the meeting room (usually it is upstairs in the "Board" room). This week the dharma talk is "__ Open topic __". Our typical schedule is -- 3:45 Doors open; 3:45 to 4:15 Mindful Movement; 4:20 to 4:50 Sitting meditation; 4:55 to 5:20 Dharma talk and discussion; 5:20 to 5:30 Announcements; 5:30 Close. The LITD is a non-profit organization and relies entirely on dana (or donations, giving, generosity) to support the activities of our sangha. There is never any expectation that any member of (or visitor to) the sangha will or needs to give dana, and everyone is welcome with open arms and no strings attached. We can only accept dana on the 3rd and 4th (and 5th if there is one) Sundays.
