“A Tribute to the Legends” features some of the best in soul music paying homage to their heroes and musical influences ranging from Tina Turner to Chaka Khan-from Jimi Hendrix to Luther Vandross. LivSuite has teamed with the Carlyle Club to bring you a live music experience that will blow you away featuring local, regional and national artists. The premiere will kick off with a tribute to music legends Tina Turner (performed by Eva Kennedy, Atlanta GA), and Jimi Hendrix & Prince (performed by Levi Stephens, Washington, DC).

More about the artists:
Born Ericka Smith, Eva began as a young shy, southern girl from an Atlanta Baptist church that just wanted to sing. She started from the bottom, as a regular at open mic jam sessions around town, and worked her way to principal roles in a few “chitlin circuit” plays, eventually performing background work for the likes of Kelis, Johnny Gill, Algebra, Joi Gilliam, William Hoge, and a host of others. Finally she decided to take the leap of faith and dive into her own project once again, and…voila! Eva Kennedy was born!

Eva currently is working on her solo album title “The Eva Kennedy Project”. In it she exhibits her diverse style, love for music, and life experiences. Utilizing live instrumentation to capture an authentic sound reminiscent of Motown’s Hitsville classics, this production is sure to offer something for the music lover in everyone!

Also performing is Levi Stephens. Armed with his guitar, Levi chooses to follow in the tradition of those classic singer-songwriters that came before. Levi is an acoustic soul singer-songwriter who is intent on making a difference through his music by crafting songs that evoke an array of emotions and connect him to his audience by fostering a sense of familiarity through a shared laugh, shared heartache and a shared love of song. His debut album, “This Way” goes far beyond the confines of R&B and seamlessly melds a variety of genres, from soul to rock to gospel to folk.
Deborah Bond will be the Special Guest Hostess for the night. Prepare for yet another night of musical euphoria with The Carlyle Club and the LivSuite!

The best meeting area will be in the bar lounge area. I believe all everyone may have bought tickets for tables that are spread throughout the venue so prior to the show starting we should all meet in the bar lounge area to hang. The dance floor will be open whichc will also give us space to hang while the performances are going on.
