Beginning Trail Riding at Borderland State Park

Due to inclement this trail riding outing is rescheduled to Tuesday 6/18. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Join L.L.Bean Mansfield for our first weekday Outing of the Summer at Borderland State Park.
The first 1/3 of the ride is on gravel carriage roads and meadows with some inclines and declines as well as loose gravel areas. The second 1/3 of the ride takes us on Bob’s Trail which includes narrow paths with tree roots, some rock outcroppings, and a raised wood walkway. This part of the ride is the most technical. It may be muddy in spots if there has been heavy precipitation beforehand. Some inclines and declines and a lot of twists and turns. The last 1/3 of the ride is the cool down with carriage roads and a few loose gravel areas.
We will meet in the main parking lot, on the far left. Look for a Gray Chevy Tahoe with a LL Bean banner on the back. Directions at mass.gov/dcr/parks/borderland

Mark, you have to supply your own mountain bike and equipment. A helmet is required. The cost for this day is $2.00 which is the park entrance fee.
