Snowshoe hike through Rock Meadow in Belmont

With fresh snow on the ground, now is the perfect time to dig out your snowshoes!  Join us on a morning hike of approximately 1.5 miles over easy terrain, from one of the oldest remaining Victory Gardens in the US, through open grasslands, a marsh, and typical northern broadleaf forest.  (Non-snowshoe walkers welcome – please wear appropriate hiking shoes!) Ages 8 and up are welcome.

What to bring?

·  Dress for the weather – hike will take place rain or shine

·  Bring your snowshoes and trekking poles – we can help you “dial them in”.

·  Binoculars / Camera

·  Water / Trail Snack

·  Sunglasses / Hat / Other sun protection
