Hike Noanet Woodlands

Join us for a hike to Noanet Peak, with its view of the Boston skyline from an open granite ledge. We'll also investigate an early 19th century iron mill site and dam, while following narrow paths and open fields covered with snow.

If you have microspikes or stabilicers, bring them, otherwise grippy hiking boots will suffice.

We'll travel about 4 miles over easy terrain.

Equipment and Clothing-

Wool or synthetic base layer
Insulated jacket, or mid-layer/shell combination

Please bring water, snacks and any personal medicines and gear you may need as well. These outings are free but you are responsible to have everything you need.

The minimum age for attending is 8 (Children 8-15 yrs must have a participating adult with them, 16-17 yrs must have a parent/guardian sign participant agreement but do not need to attend).

Please dress appropriately for the weather conditions. Dressing in layers works best.

Wear appropriate footwear.

A camera and/or binoculars are always a welcome addition.

Please arrive 15 minutes before hand because we want to get started on time.

Would snowshoes be a good option for this hike?
