Fly tying Series--Green Caddis Pupa

You'll look far and wide to find a stream without green caddis in it.  The fly we'll be tying in this session is the pupal green caddis.  During this stage of its life cycle, the caddis leaves its underwater home and swims to the surface.  Caddis are easy for trout to catch while rising and this, in turn, makes it easy to catch the trout.

We'll show you how to tie it, talk about effective ways to fish it,  and supply the materials and equipment for you to tie your own in the store.  No experience necessary.  Note that this is in addition to, not instead of, our regular Tuesday fly-tying session. Meet at the Outdoor Discovery Center, near the bike shop.
