Geocaching Hike

We'll join with the Freeport Conservation Trust for a hike on the Brimstone Trail off Ringrose Rd in Freeport. There is a short hilly loop at the beginning of the trail, followed by a leg out to Kelsey Brook, about 1.5 miles altogether, with options for a longer walk.

Along the way we will search for geocaches that are hidden near the trail. A limited supply of GPS units will be available but please bring your own if you have one.

The two men who led this need the equipment. The even was relaxed and informal. Despite the damp weather, we all had a good time.

I should have said "knew" the equipment. Where is the edit button?

Looking forward to Sunday and a new experience. Bringing one guest; therefore, needing two GPS units! Much appreciation to you Laurie and Bill for sharing yourself and knowledge.

Is the trip on rain or shine, Bill?

If it is not pouring, yes we will run it, call the store to make sure if conditions are questionable

I have always wanted to try this as well, but I do not have a GPS unit .... yet.

I don't have a GPS, but I'm going to see if I can join up. Perhaps Hanna has one and I'll tag along with her.
