Shoe Factory Woods Trail Hike

We'll go for a late morning hike or (hopefully!) snowshoe around the brown trail of Shoe Factory Road Woods.  This trail is only about 2.5 miles, and loops through a wooded area, a prairie area, and around a small pond.  Part of the poplar Creek Trail System, this area is home to many songbirds, deer, rabbits, fox, and a wide variety of life.  If there is already snow on the ground, bring your snowshoes!  Dress warm, and come in good spirits!

Fun walk and would definitely attend another after I purchase snow shoes.

Not for this outing, we do have our snowshoeing discovery courses, which are $20 courses taught by our instructors, using our gear- reservations can be made at[masked]!

I am not sure if I will make it. That is a good question (below) because I do not have snow shoes either. I do have some boots though. In either case, I will have to see how I feel when I wake up. I have been running in the elements the past few days, and maybe a little sore tomorrow. I will be sure to change my rsvp at least two hours before.
