L.L. Bean Outing: Giuffrida Park - Chauncey Peak Loop

Chauncey Peak Loop is a moderate, 2.7 mile hike. There is a steep ascent up Chauncey with portions consisting of trap rock ridges. Chauncey Peak's total elevation is 688ft with a total ascent of 530ft From the top of Chauncey Peak there are panoramic views of the East, South and West.
The loop circles around Crescent Lake (Bradley Hubbard Reservoir). What to bring:
Water
Snack (optional) Sturdy Hiking Boots or Shoes are required because of rocky trails
Hiking Poles (optional)
Camera (optional)
Binoculars (optional if interested in for panoramic view) Sweatshirt or fleece as it can be windy at times on top of Chauncey Peak (optional but recommended)
Rain Jacket (if it is raining or if there is the possibility of rain)

      Hi Jane. Unfortunately we would not recommend dogs for this event but we do have a few hikes/events we are planning in future that will be dog friendly.
