PLEASE RSVP RESPONSIBLY.  ONLY RSVP IF YOU ARE CERTAIN YOU CAN ATTEND.

Let's have brunch at Lillie's, a unique Victorian-themed pub named after Lillie Langtry.

From Lillie's website:

"Lillie Langtry was a highly successful British actress, a renowned beauty, and socialite of the late 19th century. She was notorious for her long list of prominent suitors, which included the future King of England, Edward VII. She was born on the Isle of Jersey, which lies off the southern coast of England, and was later known as the “Jersey Lillie”.

Envied, respected, adored, and lampooned, her fame spanned over half a century. A controversial figure who challenged Victorian society’s attitudes toward women, Lillie Langtry was a unique woman, years ahead of her time.

The ornate wooden carvings and antiquities in Lillie’s were procured from a ballroom in an 1800s estate in Northern Ireland. The establishment combines an authentic ostentatious decor with a down-to-earth, mellow ambiance, that represents one of the last great Victorian “gin palaces” that once flourished in the industrial cities of Northern Ireland and England.

We serve an eclectic, traditional menu and offer an impressive range of over fifty domestic and imported beers, both on tap and bottled, as well as a fine selection of whiskeys and scotches. Our hand-picked selection of wines, of which the majority actually come from the Langtry estate in California (which was founded by Lillie herself in 1888) add to the authentic ambiance.

The antique, carved-wood bar and furnishings, the likes of which have not been seen in many years, were acquired from a Victorian mansion in Belfast, Ireland. Great care was taken to have them preserved, wrapped and shipped across the Atlantic to their new home in the heart of New York City."

For the brunch menu, click here.  Brunch is $15 which includes a mimosa, bloody Mary, beer, coffee, or tea.  To calculate the final cost, your food and drink subtotal will be multiplied by 1.3 to include tax and tip.

Tip:  If it's your first time checking in here via Foursquare or Yelp, you get a free pint of beer or glass of wine.

Hi everyone, Please be considerate to the group and plan ahead (take into consideration the less frequent Sunday subway/bus schedules) and arrive at Lillie's by 11:55 the latest so that we can all be seated at 12. Remember that honoring your RSVP is very important for this event since a restaurant reservation was required and there are people that have been on the waitlist. I look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow! Ro

It's always best to use Hopstop or Google Maps for directions. This way it will tell you the best route from where you're coming from. Just your in you're starting point and the restaurant's address as the end point. You can even see how long the trip will take.

    (continued):

If you can no longer attend this Sunday, PLEASE update your RSVP to NO by tonight, so that someone on the waiting list has enough advance notice that they will be attending. Do not wait until only hours before to change your RSVP to NO. No shows or late cancellations mean that we will arrive with less people than what I reserved for under my name, and this will negatively impact my (and LOL’s) future relationship with the restaurant. If we love it here, we will want to do repeat events. If you are not absolutely sure that you can make it this time, update your RSVP. There will probably be another time.

To those who will be attending, please arrive no later than 11:55am, so that we can all be seated by 12pm. Thanks,

    Ro :)

    Hi all,

I sent the following email to everyone on the attending and waiting list this afternoon, so PLEASE READ IT in case you didn't see the email:

You are receiving this email because you are on the attending or waiting list for brunch at Lillie's Times Square at noon this Sunday. This is a LIMITED RSVP event (and the reservation is only for 8 people), so it is very important that you update RSVP by tonight if you are not going to be able to attend. This is important for those on the attending as well as those on the waiting lists.

Hi Chris! It's a very casual atmosphere here, so no need to dress up :). See you then!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
