Spicy Sichuan at Legend Bar & Restaurant

NYC has its fair share of Sichuan restaurants, but few outside of Chinatown have earned as much acclaim as Legend Bar & Restaurant.

From the NY Times: "Unlike many of the city’s Sichuan restaurants, where the characteristic combination of hot chile and Sichuan peppercorns (ma-la, or hot and numbing) appears on every last plate, at Legend the flavors range much more widely. Chengdu braised duck ($19.95) tasted of duck meat and lightly cooked ginger; succulent and chewy cold beef ($8.95) of warm spices and sesame; huge, shell-on prawns ($19.95), of the ocean, chile powder and the slight bitterness of celery leaves."

Let's feel the heat at Legend Bar & Restaurant. We will dine family style and split the check, tax and tip. NOTE: If you do not enjoy spicy food, you may want to skip this one.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
