Simpson's In The Strand

Simpson's is one of the few London restaurants offering only the finest quality British ingredients cooked to perfection in classic British style. The restaurant's speciality is Scottish beef on the bone that has been aged for 28 days for maximum flavour. The beef is carved at guests' tables fromantique silver-domed trolleys, which is a practice that began over 150 years ago and for which Simpson's is world-renowned. Other Simpson’s signature dishes include classics such as potted shrimps, roast saddle of lamb and steak and kidney pie.

Guests can also enjoy classic cocktails in Knight’s Bar, an art deco cocktail lounge located on the first floor. It is the perfect place to enjoy either a pre-dinner cocktail or after-dinner aperitif.

Preferred dress code is Smart Casual. Although jacket & tie are not necessary, guests are requested not wear ripped jeans, shorts, trainers, flip-flops, sandals (for Gentlemen) or T-shirts.

Ladies, fill and send out the forms to Masterchef!. ....the semi finalists are just ordinary folks with a big passion in food and cooking ..... just like you :)
Have a read of their profiles http://www.bbc.co.uk/...

Hi, for those who have not been following Masterchef 2014, the winner is Ping who is from Malaysia.
Both judges never tasted many of the Malaysian dishes that Ping cooked. Unfortunately, those dishes cannot be found in any restaurants in London.
And yes it's true what Ping said. Ipoh is famous for its chicken rice so folks, if you get a chance to visit the place, don't forget to try it.

Hello Agnes.. I was listed as going but you have moved me to the wait list.. Any particular reason? Can I still attend?

    April 19, 2014

    • Agnes A

Hello Nichola, you're on the Yes list

      1 · April 19, 2014

  • Agnes A

Hi the original invite is for people with vouchers. However, as many missed the deal, I've looked and secured a different deal for you. I have moved people on the previous deal to the waiting list and subsequently moved people who have communicated their interest to accept the new deal to the Yes list. If you are interested in the £32 deal, let us know by writing here

    Hi Agnes,

I've looked at the voucher but it says that they will only allow 4 vouchers per table? Did I read that right?

    March 21, 2014

    • Jo

So if we can't get a Voucher does the price of the meal go up over the £32 then? What's the deal without the voucher?

      April 3, 2014

    • Agnes A

£32 for 3 courses with champagne
