Ken's Events has a limited number of FREE ENTRY TICKETS (normal price £5) to visit The Chelsea Art Fair.
The Chelsea Art Fair has been bringing quality contemporary and 20th-century art to London's Chelsea Old Town Hall for 18 years. Following the success of last year, which brought a younger, fresher feel to the format with new layouts, organisers, selection committee, and marketing teams, the 2014 fair promises to build on that progress with many of the galleries returning this year. Visitors can expect a selection of galleries offering paintings, prints, drawings, sculptures and ceramics to peruse and purchase. Prices usually range from £500 to £20,000 and are independently vetted so you can be sure you're paying the approximate market value. The Chelsea Old Town Hall is a pleasant venue in which to admire works of art and is very welcoming to casual browsers and amateur art buyers. The nearest station is South Kensington Tube.
This little gem in the International Art Fair calendar will once again bring together 30 leading UK and International galleries to the Chelsea Old Town Hall. The stylish, airy stand plan in the elegant surroundings of the Chelsea Old Town Hall, give the visitor a feeling of space, and ability to absorb the art on offer.
Following the successes of 2013 a large number of the galleries have rebooked. All the new galleries have been subject to the same selection process to ensure a variety of art on offer. So whether the buyer is looking for that small intimate work, or a large statement piece of sculpture, a wide variety of quality works of art can be assured.
All galleries are subject to strict guidelines, ensuring quality as well as professionalism. Each gallery must show a minimum of three artists, and no living artist can be represented by more than one gallery. Prints are generally limited to editions of no more than 10, giclees will not be permitted. For sculpture, editions are limited to 15, and there will be no resin sculpture will be on offer.
Once again the Chelsea Art Fair is proud to support Hearing Dogs for Deaf People. As with last year, each gallery will have a work of art for sale, where a percentage of the proceeds will go directly to the charity.
