Members of KEN'S EVENTS are invited to the KEN'S EVENTS 300TH CELEBRATION.  This milestone was passed just a few weeks ago. That is, 300 events within two years, which works out on average of 1 event every 2 days (almost!).  Let's Ceebrate this milestone and lets share a drink and toast the next 300 events.

Jamies Wine Bar in the City is the chosen location for this evening's celebration.  Jamies Wine Bar's full address as above, and is ideally located on Ludgate Hill, minutes away from St Paul’s Cathedral and St Pauls Underground Station and also situated within walking distance of City Thameslink and Blackfriars Stations. Jamies Wine Bar on Ludgate Hill is the perfect spot for a glass of wine (or beer) with friends in the evening, to celebrate the occasion of the launch of this new exciting group!!

Jamies Wine Bar also features a delicious menu, typically British but with a few modern twists.

However note that Free Nibbles are available to members of our group this evening, in celebration of the event!

The Jamies brand is proud to be known for its extensive selection of quality wines with over twenty available by the glass. You will also find a range of beers, spirits and a selection of cocktails. This bar a haunt for the discerning who wish to get away from the west end crowds. This is a comfortable bar also with high tables and booths, the ideal place for a Celebration of this nature. Also an ideal place just to relax and chill out with a glass of wine with friends in the evening.

Get there as early as you can and we can have a really great night!!

In my opinion it was not the best of venues for a Friday evening. I arrived at 9.30 pm and the bar looked reasonably busy. I was greeted by 2 of my meet up friends on arrival, and that was very nice, but to be honest, I did not like the area, as it was very lonely when walking down Ludgate Hill, and it was only 9.30pm, so I wouldn't like to imagine what it would be like at 11pm, heading for the underground. The venue was very dark and dingy and very cramped, and there was nowhere to put my coat.
However, after 5 minutes of being inside the bar, I was greeted by Ken,our absolutely fantastic host, so what more can I say. This was not the best venue in my opinion, but I don't put any blame on Ken, as I think Ken was looking for a change for us on a Friday night, and we all live and learn from our mistakes.

You say goodbye and I say Hello... I think the Brookside Tavern should be the new home for Fridays. At least we'd get to sing along to lots of Beatles songs.
