In my opinion it was not the best of venues for a Friday evening. I arrived at 9.30 pm and the bar looked reasonably busy. I was greeted by 2 of my meet up friends on arrival, and that was very nice, but to be honest, I did not like the area, as it was very lonely when walking down Ludgate Hill, and it was only 9.30pm, so I wouldn't like to imagine what it would be like at 11pm, heading for the underground. The venue was very dark and dingy and very cramped, and there was nowhere to put my coat.
However, after 5 minutes of being inside the bar, I was greeted by Ken,our absolutely fantastic host, so what more can I say.
This was not the best venue in my opinion, but I don't put any blame on Ken, as I think Ken was looking for a change for us on a Friday night, and we all live and learn from our mistakes.
