THERE ARE RULES, DUDE! "Number One" says you are required to read the entire announcement. Please note the meeting is TONIGHT.
Our RSVP Policy is in effect for this event. You may be required to confirm your RSVP via email (check that spam folder!). Please don't RSVP "Yes" if you really mean "Maybe". Wait until you're sure.
Please include all guests' first names in your RSVP comment (That's the white box under where you click "yes" or "no"). This assists in name tag preparation and comes in handy if/when your guest shows up before you do. Please do not RSVP for any hypothetical guests-to-be-named-later. Guest RSVP's will be removed if the name(s) is not listed.
"We're going to have to watch that again." -John Locke
"We have to go back!!!" -Jack Shephard
"It only ends...TWICE?" and..."There's no place like home!" The excitement of finale night may have faded but we continue to mentally digest what we saw. Did you love it? Hate it? Still not sure? We're going back to the venue we've called home for the past couple pf seasons to check it out again. And this time we'll see it without all those intrusive commercials!.
Tentative schedule:
6:30 PM Our official start time. Come early to stake out a seat.
7:00-ish PM Episode 6x16 "What They Died For" (commercial free)
8:00-ish PM Series Finale "The End" (commercial free)

The nearest subway is 42nd St./Port Authority Bus Terminal (A, C, E trains).
When you arrive, make sure you check in so that you can be issued a name tag, so that you get credit for attending and so that your name is entered in te raffle. I should be stationed at the first table you meet when you get upstairs. Our raffle prize this time around is particularly sweet: LOST: The Complete Collection (Blu-ray), to be awarded in late August, when its released.

Please listen to your inner Hurley and throw some business the venue's way. Let's thank them for giving us a place to watch LOST the last couple of seasons!
If your plans change and you or a guest can no longer attend, please update your RSVP on the site ASAP. If your plans change after 2:30PM on the day of the event, please call/leave a message at 917-716-8075.
How The Waiting List Works:
Usually, if a member is first in line on the waiting list, they're moved into a YES spot automatically as soon as one opens up, and are notified by email. The only exception is if the member on the Waiting List wants to bring guests. That member and their guests will be skipped over until enough spots open up at the same time for them all. In other words, that member will have to be at the front of the line at the same time another member who RSVP'ed with the same number of guests cancels.
I may change the procedure for moving people off the waiting list as the event approaches. You will be notified by email if that occurs.
Due to the nature of a waiting list, a member may be placed on the
YES
list the day before or even the day of the event. If you will not be reachable by email the day before or the day of the event, please remove yourself from the waiting list (Change your RSVP to
NO
). Otherwise, if you are placed on the guest list, you are considered as having committed yourself to attending unless/until you advise us otherwise.
Don't forget to tip your server!
See you on the Island!

The last LOST event at the Rogue, felt like old times going out afterwards. Thanks to Tom, our organizers, Annette and our old pyro-bartender who moved to Blue Ruin.

In my humble opinion, the key to loving the finale is to come up with your own personal interpretation of it.

See it's weird. I think of season 6 like this. We resolved the MIB vs Jack and the Island conflict, then we had the sideways trick that was really a nice wrap up with a twist to close out the series and show all our characters we love are together in the end, where ever they are.

Jonathan, "lameness" is a matter of opinion. Feel free to go to the bar and order when the parts you deem lame come onscreen. :)
