It's time for the 10th Congressional district convention. We have at least on candidate (William Redpath) seeking our nomination for Congress. We'll also hold an election for a 10th Congressional District chairman. Carey Shaw has declared that she is seeking the position. Any Libertarian Party member in good standing is eligible to run for district Chairman, and any member who meets the legal qualifications to run for U.S. House is eligible to seek our nomination for that office. If you're interested in running for any of these offices please let me know by e-mail at [masked], or by phone at[masked]-0047.
All LP members in good standing are eligible to vote on party business. All members who are registered to vote within the 10th district may vote on candidate nominations. I encourage everyone to attend, meet the candidates, and even run for office. We'll be in the meeting room. I hope to see everyone there!
If you're not already a party member, please go to www.lpva.com to join now. Make sure to bring your voter registration card if you wish to vote on candidate nominations.
