Despite our small numbers, our conversation was spirited and we are now ready to take the next step in becoming a meaningful organization capable of making a real difference in the local political climate. We discussed the ned to make inroads into the thriving college scene in the area, particularly GMU. We also concluded that we should convene a meeting aside from our Loudoun County friends, not only to draw more people from the Fairfax/GMU area, but to discuss how we can tap into the diaspora of libertarian-minded people throughout the county.

The Fairfax County Libertarian group is off to great start, with lots of enthusiasm out of the gate.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
