Come join in the fun! We will be trying out different modules and games systems over the year. To start Mason will be running a mystery/horror game using DnD 3.5 rules. This first session will be centered around character generation. Message Matt for location details. The meeting will happen in Maumelle.

The PCs will be a successful traveling merchant's personal bodyguards. Characters will be level 12 gestalts, with at least 4 levels on one side in a martial class. There will be a number of house rules because there are a lot of things in 3.5 that frankly don't make any sense.

Is there anything I should know about this group, since I'm new?

They're all insane. Especially the crazy ones. Seriously, though, do you mean the adventure party or the cool kids rollin' dice? :)

Do you have a list of the houserules you plan to implement?

I'm sure that I'll remember more at some point, and I'll add them to the list.

There's not much I like about Pathfinder, but the Skills system is a significant improvement over 3E's - it's a little more than just consolidating the skill list (and in fact, they could/should have gone a bit farther with said consolidation).

First meetup will be character generation. For anyone that wants to get a head start, the stat array to use is: 18, 16, 14, 12, 10, 8.

I can't commit to another RPG group, but I do want to say the use of the Dino-Riders packaging art delights me.
