Cliff Shadows around the mountain.

Get out and stretch the muscles! This is an exercise hike around the base of the Cheyenne Mt. Although this is a simple hike it is not for a person out of shape. There are long hills on slippery gravel. This hike is in a lot of loose gravel. We will hike at a medium pace. Not running not crawling. We will stay in a loose pack. If you want to race ahead and finish on your own do not sign up for this hike. We will finish with the same number of hikers that we started with. We will take breaks leading up to the hill and on the hill. There are nice views on the hill for pictures.

__This hike is about 2 -2.5 hours depending on the size and speed of the group. And about 3 1/4 miles. Being 2 liters of water or whatever you're used to. Bring a snack. Trekking pole would be useful. I have 2 extras if needed. Children if they meet the description of the above. Dogs and Cats and Meerkats fine. See you there!

Park where the White Wood Horse Corral Fence is, by the public park bathrooms.
NOT the area with the buildings that the map points to.
