We are going up gang!! The mountain closest to the road. It's steep. It slippery. It's sharp. It's high. It's fun!! Meet at the subdivision parking lot. Bring gloves. water. Snack. Supplemental O2? . Very good. Perfect distance. Perfect height to climb. Perfect ground work. This is better than Lone Mountain. This is perfect for Sunday solo hike. This is my new addition to the solo hike routes. Just overwhelmingly wonderful. Thanks for sharing this, Jeff.

Jeff, Please take my apology for saying "some kind of plants" I checked on the website for fossils. Corals are not plants. They are animals, because they don't produce food. I learn something everyday, especially when you are with me. Thanks, Masayo

Good question. There is some elevation. Which I think u could do at your own pace. But I know u get a little unsure on the down angles. I'll put in a picture or two.

Welcome. My other group is talking about hiking Cheyenne Peak in April. It is the higher mountain behind the Eagle Peak. I will record the route in my GPS so that you can go up there with me sometime later, if you would like. Masayo
