English Country Dance

If you identify with Elizabeth Bennett or Fitzwilliam Darcy and see yourself dancing with grace and elegance to the beautiful music of long ago, all you need are lessons from Marsden Macrae, and you will soon find yourself gliding across the dance floor with your partner in the most romantic of social settings. Though English country dance appeared in the 16th Century and entertained Queen Elizabeth I, it is still around today, because people love it so and because elegance and romance never are out of style. Twice a year we have special English country dances - the Jane Austen Dance in May and Pride & Prejudice & Zombies which will be on November 2nd, 2013.

The walk-in charge is $5 per session. Beginner dancers are welcome!

The Winchester Cultural Center is managed by the Clark County Parks & Recreation Department and is located at 3130 South Mcleod Drive.  The nearest major cross-streets are Mcleod and East Desert Inn Road.
We will be in Room WC Room A.

The class starts at 6 pm, sharp, so please consider an arrival time of 5:45 pm, to allow time for paying at the front desk.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
