Dragon Boat Clinic!!!

Wow...Las Vegas! What do you think about this? We have a chance to have Jeff from Double Fifth Dragon Boat come out and give us our first Dragon Boat Clinic!

WhooHooo

If you'd like to learn from someone who has been teaching and promoting dragon boat for over 19 years, now is the time to jump on this opportunity! I had a brief conversation with Jeff and he said he'd be happy to come out and teach us all a thing or two..or three about how to paddle more efficiently, stronger and in Sync!

Talk about taking your paddling practice to the next level!

So, here's the deal...

There are still more details to be worked out behind the scenes, but the first step is to see what the interest would be from within the community!

...I'm looking to get an honest, realistic feel for who is interested!

Approx Cost: Is going to be around 60.00 per person.

This would include about 2 hours of clinic on land...He will work on theory, stroke technique...and some super secret stuff that I'm dying to learn and I'm sure you are too!

Then you will get on the boat for some hands on training, adjustment to form and a full blown practice with a pro!

...Sign up if this is something you want to participate in and we'll see if we can make it happen!

Jeff Campbell can come back anytime he wants. We not only learned a lot of new things in our sport but he also gave us a huge measurement of how much, how experienced we have become in the past six years. We are not baby dragons anymore for most of us. We have grown up to become full-fledged flaming adult dragons who can kick axx anywhere on the planet now! That is an awesome level to reach and still we have not achieved that elite status which is yet to come if we want it.

I know I do. I want to be an elite steersman and paddler both. What I love about this sport is that I can work to that level throughout my life. We don't have expiration competition dates for our age and gender like many other sports do...

    Let's do this dragon roar!!!

That was awesome, the individual attention to the stroke technique was so helpful along with the general philosophy. Thanks so much for this! Was well worth the money

    Hey Paddlers!

Just wanted to touch bases with you all! We are going to have an awesome time on Saturday! I have heard that some of you are emailing Jeff with questions and topics to cover during the clinic...We really want to address what YOU want to learn, so keep it coming!

Please know, because of the great turnout that is unfolding, we will be doing the water portion of the clinic in shifts. Jeff told me he has all day to play, so plan to be at the lake from 8am - noon at a minimum!

    Things to bring:

    Sunblock
    Hat
    WATER
Extra cash for a coffee or snack while waiting your shift on the boat
    An eager and awesome attitude

We will have all the equipment needed for the boat (as usual)!

Please be at the marina/dirt lot by 8am so we can get started on time and take full advantage of this cool event!

No worries on the weather...we will go out rain or shine!

    See you all soon!

Hi everyone. I'm looking forward to seeing you all out at the lake this weekend. If you have any questions about the clinic or if there is something you really want me to cover feel free to send me an email. It's a group training session and I want to make sure that I'm building on your existing paddling knowledge.

I've got 19 years of experience at all levels of dragon boating, from rank novices to coaching world champion athletes. I work closely with the coaches who developed the new USA Coaching Certification Training. It doesn't matter what level of paddler you are now, if you are interested in becoming a better paddler there will be something for you at the clinic. Thanks!

Ed is coming but not participating. I've been wanting to meet Jeff in person for years. We've talked on the phone many times in the first three years of our LV dragon boat program.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
