Beginners & Advanced ON2 Salsa Classes

ON2 Salsa Classes taught by Javier -

Beginner and Advanced Classes  8 PM to 10 PM $15 per person ($12 with Student ID); Cash and Checks only please.

An hour of Open Shines (individual footwork), followed by an hour of Partner Work

Beginner - Teaches the overall fundamentals of dancing/listening to Salsa music. No prior experience or dance training is required. Attend Beginners Class for several weeks and practice at home. The instructor will tell you when you are ready to move up to Intermediate Class.

Advanced - This class covers more intricate combinations of footwork and partner work to Salsa music. Teaches you how to improvise on any dance floor. Extends knowledge of leading/following and executing shines while dancing with a partner.

ON2 is a leadable dance. No partner is required to attend class. We trade partners frequently during class so the men learn to lead and the women learn to follow.

RSVP so we get an accurate head count. If you forget, just show up for class and be ready to dance. smile

Dance sneakers or dance shoes are a must, but don't let this stop you from coming to dance, just dance in your socks. Athletic shoes are not made for turns and you could damage your knees.  Street shoes and ladies' spiked heels can ruin the studio floors, so if you don't have dance shoes, please come prepared to dance in your socks.  After a few lessons you'll want to buy shoes both to bring to class and take out social dancing.  Places where we have purchased dance shoes include --

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
