Self-defense, MMA, martial arts training

  • We'll start by going over different ranges of combat, discuss some fundamental parts of our curriculum (with and without weapons), address training methods (aliveness, progressive resistance...), go over our perspective and principles about combat (structure/fighting stance, generalship, some attention to both attack and defense, foul tactics...), do an introduction to use of impact and bladed tools (stick and knife), run some drills, and do some sparring.  All you'll need (if you have them, if you don't the first couple of times, it's ok...) is workout clothes (sweats or somesuch) and boxing or MMA gloves, a mouthpiece if you have one.  See you then.  :)
