2014 Dine to Be Kind for Asheville Humane Society

Dine to Be Kind - Tuesday, March 4th, 2014

The Laughing Seed said they would be happy to host us! Their back room can hold about 25 people. If we go over that, she said she could put some people at smaller tables.

You can see their menu, here.

There is street parking or park in the Wall Street garage.

About Dine to Be Kind - Asheville Humane Society's Site:

In its 11th year, Dine to Be Kind is one of the best-attended and actively supported events in the area. Thousands will dine out in over 50 area restaurants on March 4, 2014 to save the lives of local animals. Each partnering restaurant, coffee shop, and bar and grill will donate 15% of their sales (including take out and bar tab) from breakfast, lunch, dinner and take-out to help Asheville Humane Society and its Animal Compassion Network Department make Buncombe County a no-kill community! The more you dine out or order in, the sooner we’ll get there.

I really appreciated that everyone supported this event, respected animals, most had pets. I love this event and go every year.

Enjoyed the Meet Up at the Laughing Seed Café. It is always nice to have good conversation and meet new and interesting people in a casual atmosphere.

Hey all! I just met the woman who helped organize this event and she was telling me that Laughing Seed Cafe is not normally open on Tuesdays - the staff is coming in on their day off specifically for this event! She was so excited to hear that our Meetup group was coming out to support the cause - looking forward to seeing everyone there!

I heard that at dinner as well. It's wonderful to live in such a supportive community. It was nice seeing you last night and hope to see you again soon! :)
