What do potatoes and technology have in common? Let's find out!
Are you interested in the new gadgets out on the market? Do you have questions about them? Would you like to try some of them out, hands-on, before you buy?
Yes, there are tutorials on the Internet or salespeople at the department stores, but what are they telling/selling me? Do I speak their lingo? What am I really buying? How about we spend an afternoon sharing what we know while showing off our own gadgets? Technology: all varieties of computer and phones, readers, tablets of all sizes, TV's and cable, etc.
We are asking ladies who have technology devices and gadgets to please bring them to share with the group. The host has wireless internet available. As time permits, ladies will be asked to stand and share a few minutes about their device and then take/answer questions. If you are having problems with your devices, bring them, perhaps someone in the group can help you!
Now for the potato part. The host will supply the potatoes and we will all share in a Potato Bar. We can nosh on our creations while hearing about what is up in the world of technology. In the end we will find out the answer to our question: While potatoes and technology may not have a lot in common, we love them both!
Our host will supply:
A variety of potatoes, white and orange. Beverages (cold flavored tea, bottled water, and assorted soda).
Marcine will be providing her special Vegan Brownies for dessert.
