Cancelled

Ladies due to the recent RSVP changes the Saturday Valentine's Pinterest party is cancelled. It does not make sense to use member dues to pay for a room for only a couple of members. I am truly disappointed myself I wanted to have the party. We do have Sunday brunch that if you want to bring your Valentine's then that would be great. Please text me if you have any questions. Of course I know we have all heard of Pinterest ( Pinterest.com ) and have spent plenty of time getting new ideas for every aspect of life. Why stay on Facebook for countless hours when you can get on Pinterest and actually have useful information. This party will be perfect for all of you crafty girls. Basically this is our way of sharing Valentines goodies with one another!!

So pay close attention to the following instructions for the party.....

1) You will bring at least .... (five) 5 "Pinterest inspired" valentines gifts you have personally made to give away. If you want to buy something you may but if DIY then even better!!

2) You will also need to bring 5 step by step recipe cards of your favorite food item you found on Pinterest. This will be your snack and sample as well.

**Please post what you plan on bringingso we do not duplicate anything.

***There will be a giveaway for the person who brings the most unique/craftiest valentine

If you are not familiar with Pinterest.com just browse the site and you will find plenty of ideas.

May I suggest something? I personally would still like to have something with you ladies for Valentine's day. But I thought that making 5 handmade gifts AND food with recipe cards was too much. Maybe instead of doing both, we can have a certain number of ladies do gifts and another do food with recipe cards and exchange those? Some of us enjoy crafting more than cooking and vice versa. Would that work? The weather has been nice lately, we could even have it at a convenient park for everyone and not have to pay for a place.

Well, the chocolate popovers were a flop, maybe due to the Nacho Vidal I was drinking while making them, so this morning I wake up, I frantically make a batch of biscuits, then double check here and see the cancellation.
Jeana, I'm left w/ a batch of Red Lobster-ish garlic cheddar biscuits on my hands...my choices are 1) eat them all myself; 2) go to the Cheese Factory brunch and give them out....
Surprising myself, I choose the brunch. See y'all tomorrow.

I'm going out to (try to) make some caramel-dipped chocolate mousse popovers...salty and sweet. The plan may change as the night goes on and my cooking skills are tested.
If I fail, I'll just bring Toaster strudel and we'll call it the same thing. :)

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
