Its been awhile since our last brunch! Lets head over to Mosaic in Rockville! They specialize in waffles and even offer their their lunch sandwiches on a waffle!

Where: Mosaic is located on Halpine Road off of Rockville Pike

When turning on Halpine Road make make a left into the shopping center (Congressional Plaza will be on your right). The restaurant will be on the left. There is parking available in front of the restaurant.

When: We have a reservation under "Lauren" for 11am on Saturday Dec 8th.

Please keep your RSVP's up to date giving enough time for someone to take your spot if you are unable to attend. I look forward to seeing you all there!

So those of you who were interested in my date:

He was nice. Shopping was weird. We went to Whole Foods, he got some sushi and I got some sushi and we ate it there. Then we left and went shopping around Friendship Heights. He looked at boots and ties. Then we left to go to Zoo Lights, but I decided I'd be too cold so I convinced him to do something else instead. We ended up going to the mall and shopped for more boots and ties. He bought a tie. We both bought smoothies. We walked around the mall for about 2 hours. I made up an excuse and had him drive me back to my car. No hug/handshake goodbye. I just got home. I'm not going to see him again, needless to say. I hope you all find this funny, as I'm sure I will by tomorrow. :)

  That's weird! Hopefully we will find someone better at a singles happy hour.... Someone who will take you somewhere else other than Whole Foods!

  Sorry to hear that he was as weird as we suspected. After my very similar experience, I can tell you that eventually you'll be able to laugh about it. Look at it as a learning experience...a "date" who only takes you to a grocery store or other store to shop is not worth it bc he's either too cheap or too lazy to make a real effort. It took me until my 30's to learn this! Get to know yourself for a while.
