Dr. Garrett Merriam Lecture - If there is a God, then anything is permissible.

Dr. Garret Merriam, Assistant Professor of Philosophy at the University of Southern Indiana, will be taking the famous line from Dostoevsky, "If there is no God, then anything is permissible," and turning it on its head, inside out and every which way. He will be arguing that if God and all his trappings, as traditionally conceived of by mainstream Christianity, are real, then our traditional moral values are in deep trouble. If we accept that God is real, then we have to abandon our basic moral ideas. Anything would be permissible.

I am going to need a ride back to the Indiana Veterans Home afterwards, can anyone give me a ride that way?
Taking the last bus to get to the meeting. If I don't get a ride after, I'll just walk back.

Does anyone have a suggestion for the best location to park?

I would say the parking garage next to the exponent is the closest. but grant street parking garage is easier to get in and out of. ill be parking in the one next to the exponent. you can ignore the parking permit "a" or "b" signs after 5pm!
