Honor Ride for Wounded Warriors - Feedback Please!

  • Veteran's Memorial

Main St and S Cook St, Barrington, IL (map)

    42.154202 -88.134789

  • I am soliciting feedback to determine who would be interested in forming a team to participate in this 29.5 mile ride. Check out the information below - if you are COMMITTED to being a part of a team, please indicate same by RSVPing "Yes" by Wednesday, September 11th.

We need a minimum of 5 people in order to register as a team. After 09/11, if we have at least 5 people who have RSVPed "Yes", I will update this listing to reflect the info for team participation; if we do not have 5 people who have RSVPed "Yes", I will update this listing to reflect the info for individual participation. In either case, additional fund-raising is encouraged but is not required. Please do NOT register for the actual ride at this time; cost will vary depending upon whether you register as a team member or an individual so please wait until after 09/11, when this listing has been updated accordingly.

If you have any questions in the meantime, drop me an email or leave a comment below.

    Honor Rides
Ride2Recovery Honor Rides raise funds and awareness for the mental and physical rehabilitation of our nation's healing heroes who participate in the Ride2Recovery programs, as well as build custom adaptive bikes for their use.

Revenues created through the Honor program support Ride2Recovery’s Project HERO cycling programs at military and VA locations throughout the United States, established to help healing heroes overcome the obstacles they face on a daily basis.

    • Cycling is an activity that almost all patients with mental and physical disabilities can participate in.
    • It is a proven fact that participation in the Ride2Recovery program helps speed up the recovery and rehabilitation process for our healing heroes.
    • R2R has successfully designed and built adapted bikes to suit our injured veterans' needs, making it possible for almost any warrior to participate in the program including quad amputees.
