The Night Owl Ride is a recreational ride hosted by the McHenry County Bicycling Advocates. Profits from the ride benefit The Land Conservancy of McHenry County and promote bicycling as an alternate means of transportation and exercise. The ride will traverse 20 miles through the city of Crystal Lake on Saturday night / Sunday morning, August 4, 2013.
Singer/songwriter Ryan Cooper will kick off the evening's festivities at 10:30 pm with an acoustic set on his guitar; the ride will begin at 12:01 am on Sunday, August 4th. If anyone knows of a restaurant in the area that serves breakfast in the wee hours of the morning, let us know - maybe we can make a post-ride stop to refuel!

Cost is $15.00 per person. Register online through RaceIt.com; more registration options as well as general ride info is available on the Crystal Lake Night Owl Ride home page.
Scott and I plan on arriving at city hall no later than 11:30 pm. On Friday evening, I will email my cell phone number to all those who have RSVPed "Yes" by that time - contact me once you arrive at city hall and I'll tell you how to find the group.
