Another great ride in Lake County. Glad I decided to remove a clothing layer before starting. What great weather after the rain and hail passed.

The wind was brutal but it felt good to get out on the bike! Thanks Craig for taking the lead on this one! Grrr - I forgot to take the group pic!

Ok, folks - we are on! Looks like we are clear of rain for several hours but do be prepared to deal with wind and wet roads. I would suggest using lights if you have them.

I'm planning to ride up from Deerfield. What will the route be heading out? If my timing is off, I can meet the group on the road.

I don't drive (vision impairment but fine for cycling) and was wondering if anyone's driving from or through anywhere around where I live, which is off of Milwaukee Ave., a little south of Deerfield Rd. If anyone's coming that way and willing to pick me up, I'd love to do this ride!
    Thanks!

Hi David...just how portable is your bike? Was wondering for those who might have the space. I think most of our riders live north of where you are located.....

Thanks Pam. It's a recumbent trike and it folds. The seat comes off and it folds in half. It easily fits in any SUV, minivan, and a lot of car trunks. If anyone's coming from the Deerfield or Buffalo Grove area, I'm just off of Milwaukee and one light south of Deerfield Rd.
