Bagel Trail / Road Ride ~ Mundelein to Lincolnshire (23 Miles Out-N-Back)

Come out on Sunday morning for a trail / road ride to Einstein Bros Bagels in Lincolnshire. We will take the North Shore Bike Path to St Mary's Road and continue on pavement until we reach our destination. Plan on a pace of about 11-14 mph.

This was a lot of fun except for the wind. The bagel and coffee plus the company made up for it!

Thanks! I might use a trek fitness bike instead of the beach cruiser. Tires are narrower than beach cruiser but not as narrow as a road bike:-)

It should be fine - it's pretty hard packed with the crushed stone. I've never seen it in an unrideable condition due to water.

Hi Kathi, is this ride going to branch onto the Des Plaines trail off of St Mary's to get to Einstein B Bagels?

We will be on road after leaving the North Shore Bike Path at St Mary's Rd until we reach Rt 22 - then we'll jump on DPRT to reach destination.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
