Bagel Trail / Road Ride ~ Mundelein to Lincolnshire (23 Miles Out-N-Back)

Come out on Sunday morning for a trail / road ride to Einstein Bros Bagels in Lincolnshire. We will take the North Shore Bike Path to St Mary's Road and continue on pavement until we reach our destination. Plan on a pace of about 11-14 mph.

On Saturday evening, I will email my cell phone number to all those who have RSVPed "Yes" by that time - if you are not present AND have not contacted me by 7:30 am, I will assume you are not coming. As always, if you RSVP "Yes" but your plans change, please kindly update your RSVP to "No" on the Meetup site prior to ride time.

Meetup
We will meet in the northeast parking lot of Carmel CHS (turn off of Route 176 onto Carmel Parkway - first parking lot on your left).

- Sunglasses
- High Energy Snacks (PowerBars, Clif Bars, Trail Mix, etc)
- Cell Phone
- Sunscreen and Lip Balm
- Bike Lock
- Camera

You are strongly urged to wear a helmet and refrain
from wearing headphones / earbuds while riding.
All cyclists bike at their own risk.

    Thanks! I might use a trek fitness bike instead of the beach cruiser. Tires are narrower than beach cruiser but not as narrow as a road bike:-)

      It should be fine - it's pretty hard packed with the crushed stone. I've never seen it in an unrideable condition due to water.

      It starts at 10 but as long as I'm there by 10:15 ill be fine...I'll try it worst come to worse I'll be late for bowling

      We will be on road after leaving the North Shore Bike Path at St Mary's Rd until we reach Rt 22 - then we'll jump on DPRT to reach destination.
