Do you blog for work, for fun, both, or neither yet?

So far, just for fun, but I'm wondering if there's any chance for me to make some money by blogging. I'm hoping the bloggers at Lake Erie Moose Society can give me some advice and some honest feedback.

If you do blog, what is the topic of your blog(s)?

I have recently started two blogs. One is personal. It's about my dog, Lili. I write about her activities, some adventures we have together, some of the funny things she does, and how my life has been enriched by having a dog. The other blog is for a local business, Canine University. I don't have as many posts on it yet. It's mostly about dog training and other things dog owners' may be interested in, such as protecting your dog from ticks, ways to prevent heat exhaustion in hot weather, and how dogs are helping diabetics by sensing an upcoming hypoglycemic event.

What would you like to get out of a meeting - inspiration? A technical fix? To meet new people or make networking connections? Something else?

All of the above! Inspiration, networking, advice, make new friends, learn new things and maybe help someone else become inspired, too.

Two years ago I quit my job, went back to school, then realized I didn't like what I had gone back to school for! While I figure things out, I started writing again, after not doing so for many years. I'm loving every minute of it!
