Do you blog for work, for fun, both, or neither yet?

I blog for fun. Even if I wanted to blog as part of my job, I couldn't, because most of what I do is proprietary.

If you do blog, what is the topic of your blog(s)?

I'm interested in what makes people tick, how society works, and how things change over time. So for example, when Twitter came along, I wrote several posts about how it changed people's style of communication. Also, there's a fair amount of humor and do-it-yourself stuff thrown in.

What would you like to get out of a meeting - inspiration? A technical fix? To meet new people or make networking connections? Something else?

For me, it's inspiration, community, and meeting new people. In a room full of bloggers, ideas seem to flow better. Every blogger I've ever met felt at least a little compelled to blog - there's energy. That gives the meetups a little extra spark.
