There are so many things I want to build. And KNOW how to make changes to those systems and platforms to me is like having the keys to the kingdom.

It's good to get to know everyone socially and professionally - but I would say also augment that with a vision discussion. See what people want to get out of the group, and then make that your goal. Otherwise, if you do an alternating schedule, try to keep the alternating schedule equal too. Yah, I don't think Panera would be that great :) Check local libraries, etc. :) Let me know how it goes!

It gets cut off! :) The other important thing I'd say is focus on community. Try to have some PHP related topics but focus on getting to know the group too. That solidifies it and makes it easier for people to be more willing to present. Good luck and let me know if there is anything else I can help with.

Hi Patrick and thanks for the note. Logistics are an open game for your location and your group. The first few times we experimented with things and found our groove. I actually co-organize two groups and the methodologies are different. For MKEPUG, we always do the same day each month at the same location. For MWDM we do somewhat same days, but they change, and different locations each time. It really depends on your group's dynamic.
