I have stayed out of this conversation, for the simple reason that I didn't think it warranted my time. However, I think it's time to jump in and say a few words.
All of you have missed the mark on how this all started. So allow me to enlighten you. And by the way, NONE of your remarks about "stealing" the email list,  are correct.
It started with a lonely gentleman that is a member of the LKN over 40's group, signing up with ZOOSK - the Facebook dating site. When he did that, Facebook asked permission to "link" to his other email accounts, one of them being the LKN over 40's group email list. This is where the problem started. This is why the floodgates were opened for what many of you are calling SPAM, which in effect, it is.
The easiest thing to do, is to delete the email when it arrives in your inbox. The more you reply to these messages, the more SPAM you are going to receive.
The longer you keep this discussion going, the more negative things are going to become, and the worse it's going to look on Amy. So as a member of the group, and a good friend of Amy, I am going to ask that all of you curb your negative responses about the emails you are receiving, and just delete what you don't want. It will go away much quicker that way, and things will quiet down a lot faster.
