I'm not going to be able to attend this Saturday due to spouses uncle coming in from Brazil. Last-minute deal. Sorry!

Did the date change from the first Saturday of the month to the last?

The About page on my Wordpress site says pretty much all I'd like. You can access the site by going to I'm in the process of selecting poetry for a book I intend to self-publish under the title "Slices." I like to illustrate my work through the creative talents of other people. Ray Ferrer designed the cover and contributed illustrations for Through the Glass Darkly, under my nom de plume L. Stewart Marsden. It's on Amazon.

Years ago (late 70s) I moved to New York City in order to write full time. Life intervened, and my 2nd child, Graham was born in Roosevelt Hospital on the West Side. I was able to get an agent, but shortly after decided NYC was not the best place to raise a young child.

I also wrote for an improv group and we produced a musical comedy review called "Glittering Heights."

We moved back to NC, and I thought I could write anywhere. That's only true if you sit down and write.

I'm digging the ashes out of the hearth in order to start the fire anew.
