If you like to walk, hike, clam, crab, camp, kayak, or just simply explore our beautiful local area, then this is the group for you! My husband and I are avid outdoor enthusiasts who love to find new places to visit and explore. We often go on multiple day trips throughout the year like to North Cascades National Park, Olympic National Park, Leavenworth, Birch Bay, Whidbey Island and the San Juan Islands. We also try to locate and attend as many local events as we can like the local farmers markets, outdoor summer concerts and festivals. We are also very big moviegoers and will post several "Movie in the Park" events throughout the summer.
We will go on day hikes and picnics at least once or twice a month and organize three or four camping trips a year. I enjoy kayaking and can often be found paddling around Lake Stevens or Lake Cassidy. So, if you own a kayak, I hope you will join me! When weather permits, I will spontaneously post a meetup from time to time. For those of you who enjoy walking, we have set up a regular fair-weather schedule to meet at least two or three times a week along the Centennial Trial or anywhere you all might like to. There are several beautiful parks and wildlife viewing areas that we enjoy exploring, but we're always open to suggestions!
• This is NOT a singles group!!! There many meetups out there that cater towards this so we invite you to look at the other groups available in the area.
• We want to encourage our members to actively participate and make this their PRIMARY MEETUP GROUP! We ask that you attend at least one or two events a month.
• RSVPs will close usually 30 minutes to an hour before the start of an event. You can still change your RSVP to NO if you cannot make a meetup.
• If you have 3 or more NO SHOWs, you WILL be removed from the group!!!
***We also ask that if you RSVP to an event, as a courtesy to others, please make every effort to be there and to be on time, maybe even a little early! We will only wait 10 minutes for any latecomers unless we receive an email, phone call or text message. If you find that you are unable to make an event to which you previously RSVP'ed, please change the RSVP to NO or let us know as soon as possible that you cannot make it! This allows others not to have to wait and worry about someone who is not coming. Again, you can still change your RSVP to NO if you cannot make a meetup even though an event has been closed to new RSVPs!***
