Free Yoga for Gardeners

Katey Branch of Halls Pond Healing Arts and Scott Vlaun of the Center for an Ecology Based Economy will share their mutual love of yoga and gardening and how they can support each other and us. Explore the ways that yoga can help you generate more growing power from your body while preventing injury and improving overall health and well-being. Learn simple poses to develop important core strength and balance. Harness the power of the breath. Learn counter-poses to relieve the strain of repetitive motion. Develop healthy body mechanics for using common garden tools. Identify easy to grow, highly nutritious crops.

Bring water and a yoga mat if you have one. We can provide a few for those who don't have them.
