I ran track and cross-country in High School, and Marathon team in college. But that was 30 years ago. Just coming back from an injury, so trying to carefully increase mileage. I'm also into cycling, and have done triathlons in the past few years.
When I'm in shape (not now), I can do a 10k at a 7:00min pace. Right now, I'm trying to work back up to a 10k distance, period. Speed is not the priority right now, just slowly working to get back where I was a year ago.
Early morning, or late evening. Unless it's winter, then noon.
I live in North Austin near 620, so this group is more convenient than downtown groups.
