Disclaimer: I am not a teacher nor an expert rider. I do have some skills I can help teach though if you are willing to learn. There will probably be other riders there who can give you tips also.
Anyone want to come out and learn some new skills? Any advanced riders want to come help out? This is a great real mountain bike park, not just jumps and berms like most. This park has some great technical flat (rocks and logs), uphill/downhill, and switch-backs. I could easily spend 1 1/2 hours playing at this park. It's a great place to 'level up' and practice for the upcoming season.
If you are interested, we can go over some basic skills - balancing/brake stand, cornering and gear selection - in the parking lot before heading over to the park.
We'll meet at the north parking lot of the park. The park is just north of the parking lot.
Helmets, a bike in working order and a good attitude are all that are required.
Oh yeah, stick around after for beer/food in DTC afterward!
